Registration Packets for Summer and Fall 2026 will be available in the Merriewood office starting March 2nd. Registration for new families begins March 27th at 7:15am.
Merriewood Children's Center is located on the campus of Burton Valley Elementary in Lafayette California. We offer before and after school programs for children in grades TK through 5th.
We also offer morning nursery school programs for children age 2 through 5 with limited before and after nursery school care.

Child care is offered before and after school for children attending Burton Valley School. We open at 7:15 am and close at 6:00pm.
Base hourly rate $18.50/hr
Hourly rate for over 60 hrs a month $16.00/hr
Hourly rate for over 120 hrs a month $14.50/hr
Extra unscheduled hours $23.50/hr
A minimum of 5 afternoon hours are required for each child.
